Backstory:
Kuma and her brother were raised by an old man who took in orphans and taught them skills, which he expoited when they got older. She is an expert combatant and if she had continued on the life's path set before her would've been an assassin. But she left when she was ordered to kill a man who was the single parent of a girl a couple years younger than herself, warning the man of the danger. For that she lost her home and contact with her younger brother.
She came to Saint Catherine's looking to start a legal and legit life.
Kuma was trained for combat, but the training was too specialized, she didn't grow up like a normal child. She has a tendency to be less than social and isn't a good communicator. She works best in a position of authority with simple rules and goals. She has Spartan values. But she is very loyal to those she sees as kind and worthy of loyalty.
